Stick Man

Our Stick Man theme centers around the book Stick Man by Julia Donaldson. Stick Man is distraught when one day a dog carries him off to play fetch. Lonely and lost, Stick Man ends up farther and farther away from home. All he wants is to be home with his family for Christmas, and when he helps Santa Claus out of a predicament—well, you can probably guess what happens. Your children will use sticks to create artworks, letters of the alphabet, and shapes; increase their gross motor skills by playing games; and participate in STEM activities that will encourage them to think, to explore, and to problem solve.
