Leaf for each child

Little Leaf, Dance with Me!

Hold a leaf in your hand and move along!

Little leaf, up so high,
Lift your leaf up to the sky.

Little leaf, down so low,
Bend down slowly, touch your toe.

Little leaf, spin around,
Turn in a circle, don’t fall down!

Little leaf, sway and swing,
Wave it gently like a wing.

Little leaf, jump—one, two, three!
Jump up high and follow me!

Little leaf, float to the ground,
Crouch down softly without a sound.

Then WHOOSH! The autumn wind will blow—
Stand up tall and off we go!
