Easter is a great time to talk about the oval shape. Print oval printout, cut out, and show children. Pass a hardboiled egg around and let children feel the oval shape. Discuss how the shape looks: round, no corners, two curved long sides and two short curves on both ends. Retrieve the egg but put it where children can see it (use later for snack time).
